Heading up to Boston we dove into the fall season a little early. As we slowly (yes, slowly, thanks traffic) approached Massachusetts we were engulfed by all the trees turning bright reds, oranges and yellows.
Apple picking is the epitome of fall activities and we were not going to miss out on this opportunity to pick to our hearts content. We even had to turn our tea towels into bags to help with all the apples we picked.
Sometimes we go a little overboard with the amount of apples we take home, but not to worry. I decided that my first apple course would be some homemade apple cider. At first I followed a recipe, but wound up adding a bunch of extra spices. I've never done this before so, we'll see what happens. Apple sauce and pie to follow!
Oh and guess what? We've got mugs!
